Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Service Description
MapSmith provides a service to generate Minecraft worlds based on real-world geographical data. The service is powered by Arnis, an open-source tool.
2. Pricing & Seller of Record
Prices range from €3 to €50 depending on the selected area size. Bedrock Edition orders are limited to a maximum area of 250 km² (€25); larger areas (up to 500 km²) are only available for Java Edition. All prices are shown tax-inclusive; any applicable taxes (VAT, GST or sales tax) are calculated, collected and remitted by our payment provider based on your location.
Purchases are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Link, LLC (a Stripe company) acts as the Merchant/Seller of Record for your purchase and is responsible for the payment transaction, tax collection and remittance, refunds and payment disputes.
3. Delivery
We aim to deliver all orders within 24 hours of payment confirmation. If we cannot deliver within this timeframe, you are entitled to a full refund.
4. Right of Withdrawal
As this is a digital service that begins immediately upon payment, you agree that:
- You consent to immediate execution of the service
- You acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once the generation process begins
5. Refunds
Refunds are available in the following cases:
- Generation fails and cannot be completed
- Delivery exceeds the 24-hour SLA
- Technical issues on our side prevent download
Refunds are processed through our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record (Link, LLC).
6. Download Availability
Generated worlds are available for download for 7 days after completion. After this period, files are automatically deleted.
7. Limitations
The service is limited to a maximum area size per order. We reserve the right to reject orders that may overload our systems.
8. Intellectual Property
Generated worlds are based on OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and are provided for personal use. You may use generated worlds in your own Minecraft servers and content.
